Reverse Cycle Air Conditioners

For the ultimate year round versatility, reverse cycle offers both cooling for summer and heating for winter.

How it works

Rather than creating heat directly using elements that heat up when an electrical current passes through them, as in standard electrical heaters, reverse cycle air conditioners take heat from the outside by passing a refrigerant through an external coil which is then pumped inside the home releasing its heat into the room.  By reversing the flow of this refrigerant, reverse cycle air conditioners are also able to provide effective cooling in the summer.

This is an extremely energy efficient way of heating a home, being nearly one-third of the cost compared to other forms of electrical heating.

Advantages of Reverse Cycle Air Conditioners

  • The most economical type of electrical heating
  • Options to either heat or cool from one system
  • Safety – always cool to the touch
  • No flames or exposed metal elements
  • Long lasting – your system would be expected to last 20 years or more
  • Enhanced air quality – air dehumidifying and filtering on all systems
